Le Mans 24-hours is without doubt the supreme motorsports event in the world. A weekend of fun and fellowship for thousands of regular fansand attracting many first timers each year. Regular visitors who enjoy a degree of comfort are advised to consider our Municipal Campsites (all within short driving distances ) or our Hotels. Many personally selected and used by us over recent years. Alternatively those many fans who prefer to be in the thick of it camp at the circuit where facilities are basic and can be noisy but the camaraderie is superb.

Pictures are of the Just Tickets and Motoring FREE TRAINS that run from the Campsites at the Le Mans track into the centre. There are no timetables -' you simply jump on and get off as and when' -They are a godsend to enable you to explore the racing complex and all that the Le Mans meeting is offering on and off the race track.

NOTES and HOSPITALITY - LE MANS (updated 27.11.2007)

a. To enter the circuit you must hold either a general enclosure ticket OR a bends enclosures ticket, the latter only being valid for the Mulsanne and Arnage bends. The general enclosure ticket will get you into the bends enclosures, but the bends enclosures ticket does not get you into the general enclosures at any time. Only the general enclosure ticket will get you into the fairground and the area known as 'Le Village'. Both tickets admit you to practice sessions earlier in the week without additional charge.

b. The grandstands & camping areas; Le Houx, Maison Blanche,Beausejour, Karting Nord, Techno Parc, Hunaudieries, Houx Annexe, Chapelle & Musee Interieur are within the general enclosure area. All therefore require a General Entrance ticket, not a Bends enclosure ticket. The Bleu Sud & Nord, Expo,Arnage, Mulsanne and Tertre Rouge camping areas are outside the circuit.

c. Accompanied children under 16 are admitted free of charge. (See also note i ) You will need to produce either a passport or identity card.

d. All camping areas are available from Wednesday before the race until the following Monday. Parking is included for one vehicle, usually alongside the camping emplacement (7m x 5m). The quoted price is per emplacement for the whole period, not per person or per night.(Upon payment of a daily surcharge ( to be paid in Euros) levied on arrival, sites can be occupied on the Monday and Tuesday prior to the race - This is a new directive from the Le Mans authorities). The only exception is Hunaudieres which includes a two man tent in the price.
Note - YOU ARE ADVISED - that for every Circuit Campsite area ticket purchased TWO Admission tickets must be purchased as well.

e. Grandstands are numbered from Saturday morning .

f. Reserved parking places are numbered on Saturday and Sunday. Camping forbidden in car parks

g. Parking is also available in the red, blue and green unreserved areas.

h. When leaving the circuit or any area for which a supplementary ticket is held you must remember to take a pass-out ticket from the attendant at the gate. Without this you will be unable to re- enter the area you have just left.

i. Emplacements on the camping areas and car parking tickets are sold by us only with circuit admission tickets for all vehicle occupants. Tickets for the grandstands are also sold only with a general enclosure ticket, unless the seat occupant is a child under 16 years old, for which the price will be quoted on request. See also note ( c ) above.

j. The pit walkabout includes general enclosure,red reserved parking, and pit walkabout (at times to be confirmed) for all practice sessions before the start on Saturday. Grandstand seats may be purchased at special prices, available on request. Unaccompanied children are forbidden.

k. All camping areas will have toilets and running water, and showers except Expo, Bleu Sud, Techno Parc, Arnage & Mulsanne which have no showers. Interieur Musee has neither showers nor toilets.

l. New for 2008 - Le Houx, Maison Blanche, Bleu Nord and Hunaudieres are all numberred plots in the camping area.

m. The total occupied space must correspond to the number of passes bought. The vehicles must show the total number(s) or pass (es) corresponding to the total space occupied in the camp site.
